Although not all physical illnesses are visible all of our mental health issues are completely hidden or we choose to hide them from the world including from ourselves.
It seems like we find it easier to go to the doctor when we are in physical pain or discomfort but in the moments of mental anguish anxiety and depression we often choose to face it alone. But when we do take care of our mental health issues we feel better mentally and physically. I was faced with some mental health issues that I thought were in the past. They resurfaced. I think with the world facing the postpandemic era and all the emotional difficulties that have come with it we are all at risk of having more mental health issues appear or resurface as mine did.
